Babchi plant grows throughout the plains of India, especially in the semi-arid regions of Rajasthan and Eastern districts of Punjab, adjoining Uttar Prades. BAKUCHIOL is derived from naturally-occuring antioxidant found in the leaves and seeds of the babchi herb- native to India. Bakuchiol is scientifically studied and proven to function the same way as retinol to help minimize the appearance of wrinkles, boost collagen production, bolster skin's elasticity and lighten dark spots caused by sun exposure.

Psoralea corylifolia, commonly known as babchi, is a popular herb, which has since long been used in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for its magical effects to cure various skin diseases. This plant is also pharmacologically studied for its chemoprotective, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and antiinflammatory properties. (*)

“Bakuchiol functions similar to retinol, increasing cell turnover, thereby stimulating collagen production and diminishing signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity and overall photo damage.”
